I downloaded the Ubuntu 4. I have narrowed admtek pegasus ii adm further to these builds. Pegasus USB dhcp-boot driver.

The suspicious thing to me is line 3 of the dmesg output where it references eth0 instead of eth2 although this may be a red herring. I am somewhat bandwidth challenged at home.

After building this, I was able to use the network dongle just fine ie. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author’s experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant.
